GWT Commercial Break: So You Think You Can Act?

Have you ever wanted to be a part of something big? Have you wanted to make a difference in the way emergency responders handle various emergency events? Okay now here's the real question....Do you think of yourself as an actor/actress or at least a drama queen/ king?

Well, here is your opportunity to live out your dream!

In a first-time ever collaboration, the Indiana Department of Homeland Security and Indiana Office of Faith-based and Community Initiatives are asking for volunteers to participate in a mock disaster at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center (MUTC) in beautiful Jennings County on the 14th and 15th of November. There you will be one of the 200-300 citizens of Death Valley, IN. this scenario based exercise is designed to to help train and evaluate our emergency responders. You will be have the opportunity to play victim (complete with makeup and props) of a worldwide pandemic. You may be triage and either directed or taken to an area where appropriate medical care will be administered. Some of you may be asked to pose as recently deceased victims of the pandemic flu. Some of you may be asked to serve as hostages and victims of a civil disobedience event during the exercise and experience the realism of the the event during this exercise. And of course some of you are just going to stand there and look pretty.
Most importantly you will be fed and housed out of the weather. Playing a person dead or alive
either way we guarantee you will have a great time and help our community all at the same time. So if this sounds like a chance fun time for you to test your acting ability and help our first responders as well just click here to sign up here!

Who knows you could be the next Charlton Heston or Leslie Nielson...and no...we won't call you Shirley.
